Get the Squarespace values
In Squarespace, open Domains and choose to use a domain you own.
Enter the complete .ch domain and choose the DNS connection option that keeps the domain registered elsewhere.
Open the DNS settings Squarespace provides. Keep the unique verification CNAME and every website record visible.
Configure olu DNS
Create the verification CNAME in olu exactly as shown by Squarespace.
Add the current Squarespace records for the root and www hostnames. Do not copy example values from another domain.
Remove conflicting website A, AAAA or CNAME records, but leave mail records untouched.
Return to Squarespace, refresh the connection status, select the primary hostname and wait for SSL to become active.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Squarespace still say the domain is not connected?
Check the unique verification CNAME, conflicting root/www records and whether the CNAME name was entered twice. If the records are correct, allow DNS caches and Squarespace verification time to refresh.
