Privacy

What we process

The controller is Nullzeiger GmbH, Köchlistrasse 28, 8004 Zürich. We process account, holder, domain, DNS, payment, security and support data where needed for registration, management, billing, security and legal duties. olu uses no advertising trackers.

If you use the optional Swiss address search, the address fragments you type are looked up by olu through the official GeoAdmin service. olu does not store those searches. Only the address you submit is stored as the holder and billing address.

Recipients and international processing

Required data is shared with the .ch registry and technical providers for domain registration, payments, hosting, DNS and email. Processing may take place in Switzerland, the EU/EEA, the United States and other provider operating locations. Where required, adequacy decisions or recognised standard contractual clauses protect a transfer.

WHOIS privacy is enabled by default at no extra cost. Holder and technical contact details are not public in an anonymous .ch RDAP lookup; access based on law or an overriding legitimate interest remains possible.

Retention and rights

We retain data only while the contract, evidence, security or law requires it. You may request access, correction, delivery or deletion where no contrary duty applies: privacy@olu.ch. You may complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
