olu shows the provider’s next renewal date and sends operational reminders. A normal renewal adds one year for CHF 12. Swiss VAT is not currently charged. olu keeps upstream auto-renew off; if payment is not completed by the displayed deadline, the provider cancels the domain at that next renewal date and its website and email can stop.

There is no soft grace period after that cancellation. Under the currently published .ch lifecycle the name enters a 40-day hard quarantine, but olu still verifies the live registry state and exact restore deadline before quoting or acting. Quarantine is not a free renewal period.

Requesting a restore

  1. Contact support immediately with the domain name; only support can start an olu restore.
  2. olu checks the live registry state and the exact provider restore fee.
  3. Before any action, you receive a quote containing that restore fee plus the required one-year renewal at CHF 12, and the resulting next renewal date.
  4. Approve and pay the quote before its deadline. Recovery is impossible after quarantine ends and somebody else may register the name.
