Last updated:

Add the custom domain

  1. Make sure the Webflow site has a Site plan that supports a custom domain.
  2. Open Site settings, then Publishing or Production, and add both the root .ch domain and www if Webflow requests both.
  3. Copy the A and CNAME targets displayed by Webflow for this site.

Point and publish

  1. Add Webflow’s exact records in olu and remove only conflicting website records for the same hostnames.
  2. Verify the domain in Webflow and choose the preferred default hostname.
  3. Publish the site to the custom domain, enable SSL and test the preferred and redirected variants.

Do not remove MX or mail-authentication TXT records while replacing website records.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Webflow without www?

Yes, if Webflow accepts and verifies the root domain. Add both variants when requested and choose one as the default so the other redirects consistently.
